My first half I fell off of my training during the last month and half-two months but still managed to come within 10 minutes of my goal (had been 2:15, I came in just under 2:24). Afterwards I was planning to do another one in April, however, I’ve been dealing with a knee injury (I have no idea what I did to it but I tried giving it a few weeks off and then ease back into a routine but it needed more time off). I’m still rehabbing it, keeping up with other forms of cardio and strength training and upping my mileage a tiny bit each week. Definitely want to be back full swing mid summer, aiming towards another half this fall.
